With the Tolly 48,  Mr. Tollefson and Monk created an incredibly rugged hull design skewed towards exceptional seakeeping performance in most conditions, with a balanced, low profile deckhouse that offers amazing livability,natural light, visibility, comfort and space.
  Polaris One is a unique 48.  Shed kept from new, she exhibits astonishing perfection in her cosmetic condition.  A continuous, exhaustive process of care and maintenance with her second owner has seen ALL surfaces, bilges, mechanical, bright work and systems placed in a beyond new and improved state. 
  Tolly Tollefson selected the 48 for his last (of many) yachts.  He had a custom built hard top fabricated for himself for it as he felt it would be one of the only areas that such a well honoured design could be improved.  Polaris One has a magnificent enclosed bridge/ lounge inspired by Mr. Tollefsons own drawings, but executed in lighter composite fibreglass materials with a stronger emphasis on comfort and luxury.
