Old Routes is a 1999 42’ Ocean Alexander built in Taiwan and designed by Ed Monk Jr. The galley is located midship with the lower helm to starboard and the dinette is located aft of the helm. Going down 3 steps is the master stateroom with lots of storage and ensuite. There are also 5 steps to portside in the salon that takes you to aft deck. Forward of the lower helm going down 3 steps takes you to the office/room to std. There is a common head to the port side and moving forward is the V-berth with 2 offset bunks.
2 steps up from the aft deck is the upper helm with lots of seating for the skipper and guest. Great visibility all around. Generous walkaround all around the boat.
The upper helm has 360 degree view. Lots of guest seating under a full canvass. Three steps down , boasts a large sun deck or even gazing at the stars at night.
She is powered by twin Cats producing 210 hp each. To power up your AC appliances, there is Northern Lights generator.
