This Islander 55 hull was built by Islander/Tradewinds and designed by Bruce King in 1972. She was only commissioned in 2006. She has the traditional lines of a very fast boat with a centre board. The main is in-boom furling and furling headsail. Powered by a 3 cylinder GM producing 101 hp and 5 kw Northern Lights generator. She is certainly is a very seaworthy boat to go offshore. Sails were put in 2006.
